Lynda’s Childminding Service
About me
My name is Lynda Hall
and I have been an Ofsted registered childminder
since 2002.
I live with my husband
Chris and our two young daughters, Charlotte and Emma.
Family has always
been the most important thing to me and I firmly believe that children thrive
most when cared for in a loving home environment. As a parent who went out to
work when my eldest daughter was born I recognised how hard it is to leave a
child in childcare and decided that I wanted to be able to offer quality
childcare in a welcoming home for others in the same situation. Once my mind
was made up I went through the relevant training and registration process and
my childminding career was born !
I love working
with children and their families and am continually doing all I can to ensure
that my training and knowledge is up to date. I attend regular training courses
on many different aspects of childcare and am a member of an NCMA Children Come
First Childminding Network, which means I have committed myself to being
regularly monitored and assessed to ensure that I am meeting the NCMA’s Quality Standards and the Ofsted
National Standards. The Network also offers support on childminding issues and
gives me the opportunity to access valuable professional development training,
regular toy libraries, and often arranges for group outings where all the
members and our minded children go out for the day and have loads of fun
together!
